Privacy Policy

Qadri Market is a small studio in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This policy explains the personal information we collect through qadrimarket.com and how we use it. If anything here is unclear, write to qadrimarket17@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

• Order details — your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the items you ordered.
• Account details — if you create an account, your name, email address and order history. Passwords are stored hashed; we never see them.
• Messages — whatever you send through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp, including any files you attach.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and approximate location, collected through server logs and cookies.
• Payment information — the payment method and the last four digits of a card, if a card is used. Full card numbers are handled by our payment gateway and never reach our servers.

2. Why we use it

• To process, pack and deliver your order, and to send order and dispatch updates.
• To answer enquiries, quote custom sizes and handle returns or replacements.
• To keep the site working — remembering your cart, keeping you signed in, and protecting forms from spam.
• To understand which pages and products are useful, so we can improve them. This is aggregated and not used to identify you personally.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations, including tax records.

3. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage:

• Essential — cart contents, checkout progress and login session. The site cannot take an order without these.
• Preferences — remembering choices such as your cart or recently viewed pieces.
• Analytics — anonymous counts of visits and page views.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies will stop checkout from working.

4. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed to complete your order:

• Courier partners — name, address and phone number for delivery.
• Payment providers — the amount and order reference. They handle card and UPI data under their own policies.
• Email and hosting providers — who store order notifications and site data on our behalf.
• Authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

5. How long we keep it

Order records are kept for seven years to meet Indian tax and accounting rules. Contact messages are kept for two years. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained in aggregate only.

6. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your account and contact messages, where we are not required to keep order records.
• Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link in the email.

7. Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Access to orders is limited to the studio. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep plugins and the server updated and take a backup before major changes.

8. Children

The store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a minor has placed an order, contact us and we will cancel and remove the data.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a revised date. Material changes will also be noted on the home page.
